Whenever two or more people gather in the name of helping homeless animals, there is hope. Hope that one day pet overpopulation will be a memory instead of an overwhelming crisis. Safe Haven of Iowa County has implemented our Fur Paws Dinner program to encourage people to gather together and enjoy some food all while helping to solve the pet homelessness problem.
Whether you host a cocktail party, barbecue, four-course dinner or a wine tasting event, it’s an opportunity for people to come together, enjoy a meal and support a common cause--animals in need. Fur Paws Dinners will energize thousands of caring animal lovers and in turn raise awareness, increase the number of shelter adoptions and boost monetary donations, which directly supports the homeless animals Safe Haven cares for annually.
Now you may be thinking, so how does this work? As a host, you would organize a meal and invite the guests. Create your own favorite dishes or just keep it simple and order pizza. Instead of bringing wine, flowers or dessert, each of your guests is asked to make a donation to help Safe Haven of Iowa County. Money raised from Fur Paws Dinners goes to help the new shelter fund.
